EFT

I just finished experiencing the 10 day 2011 World Tapping Summit on a webinar (I guess that's what you call listening to audios on the computer. That tells you how much I know about the computer) Anyway, in case you haven't heard of Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT, it's a healing tool based on the body's energy systems and meridians. EFT is based upon concepts that have been used in Eastern medicine for over 5,000 years. In the process, tapping is done on certain energy meridian points in the body and releases negative energy, thereby promoting health in all areas of life.

Everything in the universe is made of energy, and we humans are no exception. During our lifetime, we experience both positive and negative energies, and the quality of our life is greatly affected by these energies. Positive energy flows freely bringing us healthy, fulfilling lives, while the negative disrupts this natural flow and causes the physical and emotional pain we experience.

Have you ever walked into a room where people have been arguing, and you feel the negative vibrations? Or a room where people are smiling and happy, and you feel their positive energy? Just think what these energies do inside your body, especially negative ones that might have been there for many years causing physical, mental or emotional pain--all kinds of stuff that keep you from having the kind of life you want.

Today, we have pills for everything. But usually they just treat symptoms. They don't always get to the root of the problem and sometimes make things worse. I'm all for medication when you really need it, but how great it would be to have a tool you could use yourself to release the problem causing energies from your body on an everyday basis--relieve physical pain, promote sleep, heal old emotional traumas, calm anxiety and all kinds of fear, ease a sense of loss, and many other situations that inhibit your comfort and growth. Just feeling a sense of control in your life can make a big difference.

I recently watched a video about a group who taught EFT to Rwandan orphans. It was absolutely amazing to see these childen's expressions turn from sadness to smiles as they used this tool to release the pain of their traumas.

If you'r interested in learning about this healing process, type in "Emotional Freedom Technique" (not EFT) on Google, and you'll get lots of helpful articles about it. Some problems can be healed quickly, while others may require some perseverence and patience. But it does work. The results are up to you.

I wish you the freedom to be greater than you are.
